Today I’m taking a look at Paul Mampilly’s Rapid Profit Summit, which he says can help you turn a $5,000 investment into $200,000 within 12 months.
Is it for real, or just another scam?
Rapid Profit Summit is legit, but it’s not a “summit”. It’s just a sales video presented by Paul Mampilly and Jeff Yastine who are promoting a newsletter called Rapid Profit Trader. Which is all about trading stock options that provide faster and larger than average profits.
In this review, we’ll be taking a closer look at what this is all about, who’s behind it, and whether or not I think it’s worth joining.
Rapid Profit Summit Overview
I came across this “summit” the other day while browsing the Banyan Hill website. It’s basically a video presentation featuring two well known investment experts, Jeff Yastine and Paul Mampilly.
In the video, Jeff introduces Paul as a “legendary investor” with a proven track record of success, and segues into discussing his latest trading system. One that, at this point, they refer to as the Rapid Profit Method.
Throughout the video, Jeff is basically just interviewing Paul about his method, who says you can use it to get at least one winning trade per week on average.
And that you can start out with just $5K, progressively reinvesting this to the point of earning up to $200K or more in a single year. At one point, Jeff says it’s an “incredibly easy” way to extract “lightning fast” profits.
Paul backs this up with numerous examples of winning trades he has experienced thanks to this method. Like when he invested in Raytheon, which made him a 108% gain 35 days. And when he bought shares in NetApp Inc. which gave him a 183% return in just 38 days.
And he says this was despite the fact that some mainstream media and economists were advising people against buying his stock picks during that time.
He also provides some voice recorded and video testimonials of people who have been able to achieve great results with his system. Which actually seem like real people, not fake actors which I tend to see with scams.
Anyway, the first third of the video is really just building anticipation and sharing the results he and his students have been able to achieve so far.
But eventually, Paul begins to explain how the method actually works and how it can not only lead to great returns, but fairly quickly and in a way that can reduce some of the risk.
Read on to learn more.
How Does This “Method” Work?
The method Paul describes in the video is all about trading stock options, and there are three main steps involved in making this method work as well as it does, compared with regular stock option trading.
Step one is to find a good Exchange Traded Fund (ETF), which according to Paul is one that meets his criteria of trajectory, consistency and profitability. In other words, he’s looking for a suitable “basket” of stocks.
Step two is all about picking a winning stock within that ETF, that is hitting a 52-week all time high.
And the third step is to make sure that stock has the potential to profit within a 23 day period. But not just a regular stock, he is specifically looking for stock options.
Because, when you trade options instead of buying shares of stock, you can use leverage to increase your potential profit, which meets his “rapid” profit criteria.
And (in a way) you are limiting your downside risk compared to buying regular stocks, because you don’t have to buy the underlying stock, so it ends up costing you a lot less upfront.
This video explains how options work in more detail so if you’re not really sure what I’m talking about, it might be worth a quick watch:
In any case, once Paul is done explaining how his method works, he reveals that, in order to get access to his method, you need to purchase a subscription to Rapid Profit Trader for $2,995 per year.
So when you boil it down, Rapid Profit Summit is really just a sales pitch.

What Is Rapid Profit Trader?
Rapid Profit Trader is a newsletter service created by Paul Mampilly and Ian Dyer, that teaches you how to trade stock options that they say can provide fast, larger than average profits.
This is something you need to buy if you want to make money with Paul’s method, the one he explains in the Rapid Profit Summit presentation (AKA sales video).
As a member, you get access to a weekly newsletter and some training videos, so that you can start using his method immediately. Along with access to Paul and Ian’s model stock portfolio, so you can see exactly which stocks Paul and Ian are recommending.
You also get regular email updates to help you stay in the loop. These keep you informed of what’s happening in the market as well as what to buy, hold and sell at any given time.
Who’s Behind This?
As mentioned, Paul Mampilly and Jeff Yastine are the guys in the Rapid Profit Summit video presentation.
Both Jeff Yastine and Paul Mampilly are investment experts with a history of success within the world trading and finance world, going back as far as the late 80’s and early 90’s respectively.
Aside from Rapid Profit Trader, Paul is behind some other well known newsletters such as True Momentum, Profits Unlimited and Extreme Fortunes.
Jeff Yastine is best known for his work with Total Wealth Insider, Profit Line and Flow Matrix Alert.
Last but not least, there’s Ian Dyer. He’s not as well known as Paul, but he’s an expert analyst and trader who works with him to bring you Rapid Profit Trader. Along with other subscriptions like Rebound Profit Trader and $10 Million Portfolio for example.
All of these guys work for a company called Banyan Hill Publishing, which puts experts like Jeff, Paul and Ian together to create free and paid subscription services that help people make money investing in the stock market.
Some of Banyan Hill’s better known publications include Matt Badiali’s Apex Profit Summit, Ian King’s Strategic Fortunes, and The Bauman Letter. But there are many more.
Is Rapid Profit Summit a Scam?
It’s hard to call Rapid Profit Summit a scam, even if you do think it’s a bit overhyped. Because it’s not a product or service, it’s literally just a sales pitch packaged up as a “summit”.
In my books, in order for something to be a scam, you need to have either lost money or been fooled into giving your personal information to someone who intends on using it improperly. And neither is the case here.
And, while much of it was really just a sales pitch, there is some value in the video. Because Paul shares the outline of his strategy, talks about why it works, and shares some examples of how successful it’s been.
So regardless of what you end up doing with that information, it’s definitely a legit video. And one that is arguably worth watching, even if you skip through some of it.
As for Rapid Profit Trader, what they are promoting, I reviewed this recently and found it to be a legitimate service. I mean, it’s not cheap at $2,995 per year, but the value you get is arguably worth it for the right person.
I recommend you read my breakdown of Rapid Profit Trader if you want to learn more. I go into a lot more detail as to what it’s about and how it works, so I think you’ll find it helpful.
Conclusion
If you’ve got a spare $2,995 laying around, and $5K to invest into options trading, then you might find Paul Mampilly’s service worth checking out.
After all, he’s proven himself as a credible expert when it comes to investing in (often overlooked) stocks time and time again. So he’s up there with the best of them.
On the other hand, you probably shouldn’t dive into something like this without understanding the risks. Which there are plenty of, especially when it comes to speculating in stocks that “might take off” in future.
So regardless of how good a given method (or advisor) is, it pays to do your research and educate yourself on the potential downside. That way, you are not just following someone’s recommendations in blind faith.
