I was recently emailed about an Angel Publishing presentation featuring Jeff Siegel, who talked about a “breakthrough” that could be “mankind’s single greatest invention.”
According to Jeff Siegel, a team of engineers in a “tiny office building in the Arizona desert” has found a way to convert a “source of infinite power” into usable energy using a device that’s “no thicker than a business card.”
Not only does Siegel say that the “small $3 company” behind the device could reshape world power markets, but he suggests its stock could see 95x gains.
“But here’s the exciting part…
You could be there BEFORE 99% of investors even know it exists…
Before this small $3 company single-handedly reshapes the world power markets…
And before this company’s stock begins an ascent capable of turning every $1,000 you invest into $95,000 or more.”
What’s it all about?
In short, Jeff Siegel is teasing a U.S. company that’s developing solar window technology. And while he didn’t reveal the company’s name in the presentation, I looked into his clues, and he appears to be talking about SolarWindow Technologies, Inc. (WNDW).
In this post, I’ll break down Siegel’s pitch, walk you through why I think SolarWindow Technologies is his pick, and discuss the service he’s selling, Green Chip Stocks.
Shedding Light on Jeff Siegel’s “Solar Window” Teaser
The essence of Jeff Siegel’s pitch is that he’s found a “$3 company” that has created a “device” that can “turn existing windows into electricity generators.”
This device, according to Siegel, is “no thicker than a business card.” Yet it can apparently turn homes, skyscrapers, and other buildings into “power plants” capable of generating electricity 24/7 more cheaply than any fossil fuel can.
“In short, this device can turn every house, skyscraper, hospital, stadium, and school in the world into its own ‘power plant’ — capable of generating its own endless clean electricity 24 hours a day, seven days a week!”
[…]
“It can power the 90 million-plus buildings and homes in America alone… more cheaply than any fossil fuel in the world can today.
It can do it virtually for FREE… 24 hours a day… seven days a week!”
The “device” Jeff Siegel is talking about is a type of solar window technology in the form of a “sprayed-on film” that goes over a window, allowing it to generate power from the sun.
It’s kind of like a solar panel, but instead of having bulky panels on your roof, this solar technology is incorporated into a window that can be installed in a home or office.
Here’s how Jeff Siegel describes the technology:
“A ‘solar window’ looks like a regular window you’d see in a typical home or office building. In fact, you can’t tell the difference between the two…
Except that this solar window is covered in a thin, sprayed-on film that captures sunlight, converts it into energy, and uses the energy to light up, heat, or cool your room.”
Siegel claims that the technology is “50 TIMES more efficient than leading rooftop panels,” users can recoup their installation costs within a year, and the solar cells are capable of generating electricity from artificial light sources.
What’s more, he states that it can be used on any home or office building:
“It can go out to ANY home or office building and apply — on site — its solar formula to start generating clean electric power for the building or household immediately.
There’s no waiting for custom glass or specific dimensions of a window or shingle, which drastically reduces the cost of installation and development.”
Sounds pretty cool.
And based on my research, the technology is being developed by numerous companies who have proven that it can work. So the potential behind something like this is huge.
However, as I’ll explain in the next section, it doesn’t appear to be as simple as a company going out and “spraying” solar onto a window. That was the impression I got from the presentation, but my research suggests that that’s not how it works.
Revealing Jeff Siegel’s Solar Window Pick
Jeff Siegel shared numerous clues about the “solar window” company he teased in the presentation. For example, he suggested that the company is based in Arizona, that its stock is trading at around $3, and that it has “over 120 patents.”
“Because this team somehow unlocked the single largest source of energy anywhere on Earth.
Not in a lab at MIT… not on a deepwater rig… not buried beneath the sand of an OPEC nation… but in a tiny office building in the Arizona desert.”
[…]
“This $3 company’s breakthrough absolutely TROUNCES First Solar’s product in every single way imaginable.”
[…]
“In short, there’s literally nothing on Earth that compares with this firm’s breakthrough invention — which it has protected with over 120 patents.”
However, the most significant clue he shared was a video about the company’s technology because, at the bottom of the video, the word “SolarWindow™” was shown. And that led me to a company called SolarWindow Technologies, Inc. (WNDW), which looks like a match.
Aside from the clue in the video, SolarWindow Technologies is an Arizona-based company working on solar technology that can be applied to windows, its stock is currently sitting at just under $3, and its Q3 investor presentation states that the company has “nearly 120 patent claims.” All of which lines up with what Sigel said in the presentation.
As for the technology itself, I’m not an expert on how solar works, much less solar panel windows. So the best source for learning about what SolarWindow Technologies is working on is probably the technology page on the company website.
According to that page, the company’s proprietary LiquidElectricity™ coatings and application processes can generate electricity on glass, flexible plastics, and films.
Long story short, the general concept and tech seem to match what Jeff Siegel discussed in the presentation. And it does look pretty cool based on what I’ve seen.
However, one question I had that I haven’t been able to find a straight answer to (anywhere) relates to the installation side of things. As in: how does it connect to the wiring in a home?
The way Jeff Siegel described it… you’d almost think that the company comes out to your home, sprays the solar onto your existing windows, and voila!
But that’s simply NOT the case.
And there are two main reasons I say this…
First, assuming the “sprayed-on film” can convert sunlight into energy, there would logically need to be some form of wiring needed to connect it to your home’s electrical system.
And second, while the company doesn’t appear to have a commercially available product or service at the time of writing, the promotional videos on its site suggest that it’s working on developing whole windows that have had this solar technology already built in.
Here’s a screenshot that was taken from a video on the company website depicting a 9 square feet “solar window” it’s working on developing:
So my point is that while the technology itself seems cool, it might pay to take Jeff Siegel’s “spray-on solar” comments with a pinch of salt.
Also, as mentioned, the company doesn’t appear to have any commercially available products or services as of writing. Nor does it appear to generate any revenue. Meaning, the technology is still in the early stages of development.
As for what the future holds, your guess is as good as mine. I’m sure many have an opinion on how it might develop, but nobody knows for sure at this stage.
Either way, SolarWindow Technologies looks like Jeff Siegel’s pick. And based on this article on stockgumshoe.com, he seems to have been teasing this company for years.
If you want to know for sure what Siegel’s teasing and get his research on the company, the details are contained in a report called “A Solar Window in Every Home,” which comes with a subscription to Green Chip Stocks.

What Is Green Chip Stocks?
Green Chip Stocks is an investment research service run by Jeff Siegel of Angel Publishing focused on emerging trends and innovations.
According to Jeff Siegel, the service is aimed at helping subscribers learn about “the latest renewable energy and other innovative breakthroughs.” And the website suggests that the service embraces the idea of “socially responsible investing.”
As a subscriber, you get access to Jeff Siegel’s latest Green Chip Stocks investment insights and recommendations, along with updates on his picks each week.
You also get access to research reports, including the “A Solar Window in Every Home” report I mentioned earlier, which breaks down his picks in detail.
The general idea is that, upon signing up, Jeff Siegel shares his investment ideas with you, and you can decide which ones you want to follow.
The cost of getting started depends on which page of the Angel Publishing site you join through, but as of writing, a 12-month subscription is $99.
As for whether or not it’s worth it, I’m not a member, so I can only speculate. But it doesn’t appear to be a scam and looks as though it could suit people who are interested in emerging tech companies, particularly those in the renewable energy space.
Who Is Jeff Siegel?
Jeff Siegel is the editor of several Angel Publishing stock picking services, including Green Chip Stocks, and says he’s been a professional investor for 30 years.
Jeff Siegel first entered the stock picking space by working for a company called Agora in 1994, which owns many smaller financial publishing firms. And he joined Angel Publishing in 2003, where he now shares his stock picks and insights with his subscribers.
Based on what is stated in the presentation, Siegel has picked numerous winning stocks over the years, many of which seem to have been renewable energy-focused companies.
However, I’ve written about other stock teaser presentations Siegel’s released, and while one company he teased was in the solar industry, others have been in the biotech space. So his picks aren’t necessarily limited to energy stocks. And if you want to know more about some of the other stocks he’s teased, the page I just linked to will give you more insight.
Bottom Line
Jeff Siegel’s “Solar Window” presentation centers around a company that he says has developed a “breakthrough solar spray that could make you 850% gains.”
I have no idea if the stock will go up or down, but my research suggests that the company Siegel’s teasing in the presentation is SolarWindow Technologies.
I think that the overall technology that this company and similar companies are working on is pretty incredible and has potential in the years ahead.
I mean, I don’t know about you, but installing solar-powered windows is definitely something I’d consider if a product or service was available that made economic sense.
But we could still be a long time away from seeing that become a reality. And either way, there are always risks involved with investing.
So there’s no guarantee Jeff Siegel’s stock pick will make you money, let alone help you turn $1k into $95k, as the presentation suggests.
What do you think? Are solar windows the future? Or are we still many years away from seeing this technology go mainstream? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
Hi there, Tim,
Again, another great read by you and your research. I read with very much interest in the transcript on Jeff Seigel’s presentation on his “Liquid Solar Spray”. You’d have to admit it was very compelling. So, it seems that the company which you have disclosed as “Solar Windows Technologies Inc.,” is surely a wait and see proposition.
Many thanks on your efforts and research.
Thanks Richard, appreciate your comment!
