American Cannabis Summit – Scam or Legit? [Review]

Welcome to my review of American Cannabis Summit.

I came across this “nationwide video presentation” yesterday via an email somebody sent me. The video is presented by some big names in the financial and cannabis industries.

So naturally I was keen to watch the video to see what all the fuss was about.

What I found was that it’s a good video with lots of useful information. But it’s also a sales pitch, with a link to buy something at the end. Which I actually did buy.

In this review, I’ll show you exactly what went down so you know what to expect..

What Is American Cannabis Summit?

The American Cannabis Summit is a video presentation about investing in the cannabis industry.

The video is presented by Mike Ward, John Boehner and Danny Brody. Who collectively have a solid track record of success within the financial and political space, and cannabis industry.

The video runs for a full hour long, and is a discussion between these three guys about a number of cannabis related topics. Primarily, investing in pot stocks.

I found the full video on YouTube, which you can watch here:

The discussion centers around the state of the cannabis industry in the United States, including law reforms and key players in the industry. Along with the massive opportunity for regular everyday investors to cash in on this “green rush”.

If you’re anything like me, you probably found the video to be interesting and helpful, but at the same time, a little ‘scripted’.

And that’s because it is.

While this may appear to be some sort of ‘report’, alerting you to a ground breaking investment opportunity, it’s really just a sales pitch.

I’ve reviewed hundreds of ‘make money online’ programs and investment publications on this site, so I know a sales pitch when I see one.

The good news is, what they’re selling is legit, and I know this because I actually bought it.

So what is it?

What they are selling is a yearly subscription to the National Institute for Cannabis Investors.

In short, this is a yearly membership that includes a monthly newsletter, stock picks and more about investing in the cannabis industry. So if you click the link below the video, you’ll end up on an order page for this yearly subscription.

Read on to learn more.

How Does American Cannabis Summit Work?

As I mentioned, the American Cannabis Summit is really a video sales pitch. Although to be fair, one with lots of great info, so it’s worth watching either way I think.

In any case, the way it works is fairly simple…

You watch the video, click the link to ‘learn more’ and end up making a decision on whether or not to buy a yearly subscription to National Institute for Cannabis Investors (NICI).

There are several membership options that come with different benefits:

  • Gold Level- 1 year subscription for $39
  • Diamond Level- 2 year subscription for $79 plus 3 ‘diamond level reports’
  • Platinum Level- 2 year subscription for $129 plus 3 ‘platinum level reports’

If you do buy, you will get access to a members area which contains useful information and tools, that can help you invest profitably in pot stocks.

The person behind NICI is Mike Ward, who’s a pretty big deal in the financial space, along with his team of advisors. And together, they bring you lots of actionable insight.

For example, there are monthly reports which outline the current state of the industry, market movements and just generally news about the cannabis world. Along with ‘buy alerts’ which are basically tips on stocks they recommend you buy.

There’s also research papers and resources to further your knowledge, along with tools like ‘portfolio’ which show you month by month how the recommended stocks are doing. Not to mention tools to help you keep track of your own stocks.

So overall there’s a lot of value for $39.

However in the interests of full disclosure, there are higher costs in the mix. Such as the upsell immediately after buying, for Cannabis IPO Insider, which costs $1,995 per year.

NICI offers a number of subscriptions, one of which is even as high as $4,995.

This is because NICI is not just about investing in pot stocks, there are other methods shown too. And as such there are more membership options to suite those who want to learn these.

Verdict – Is American Cannabis Summit a Scam?

The American Cannabis Summit is not a scam in my opinion.

Some people definitely won’t like the fact that the free ‘report’ is really just a sales pitch. Especially since there are upsells in store for anyone who buys.

I do understand this. However, the video presentation is useful in and of itself, and the NICI membership is 100% legit in my books. There is lots of value, at least in the base subscription I bought, so it’s definitely not a scam.

And while there are some pretty bold claims made in the videos, like getting over 1,000% gains, I don’t think it falls into the category of ‘misleading’ either. The truth is, there is the possibility to make such high gains, given how rapidly the cannabis industry is expanding.

I’m not saying you should rush out and buy, or that you will get rich with this. Not at all.

What I am saying, is that this is not a scam, but rather something you may find useful. Getting high level insight from people who are experts in the industry, is only going to help you if you want to invest in the future of cannabis.

So don’t expect to get rich quick, but this could help you all the same.

  1. Yes, I know all those Guru online pretending to be only solution. But I find wealthy affiliate expensive when someone struggling, not giving people a chance.

    • Personally, I think Wealthy Affiliate gives people more of a chance than any other platform I’ve ever come across.

It’s only $49 a month to build, run and grow an online business from scratch. You get all the tools, training and support you’ll ever need as a Premium member, under one roof. Zero upsells. And there’s even a free Starter account option so you can check it out before making a decision, which gives you a free website you can keep for life, even if you never upgrade.

Compare that to literally any other platform or business model going and it’s not hard to see how fair that is.

I get that not everyone can afford it, and that’s totally understandable. But in my humble opinion, $49 per month is not expensive to build a business. It works out to roughly $1.63 per day, which is less than the cost of a shitty cup of coffee.

Anyways thank you for commenting and all the best going forward.
