Is Matt McCall’s “Green Monday” Legit?

There are many knowledgeable stock investors who claim to have the secret to hitting it big in a specific niche, and Matt McCall is no different.

He claims that the secret to being successful with cannabis stocks is something called “Green Monday”.

But is it legit?

Matt McCall’s Green Monday is just a presentation he uses to pitch his subscription-based newsletter, Cannabis Cash Weekly. So it’s not a scam. But he does say you could potentially make “$2,600 in less than 30 seconds of work” though, which I feel is a bit overhyped.

As we walk through this review, we’ll look at who Matt McCall is, what he’s saying about Green Monday, what Cannabis Cash Weekly is, and more.

Who is Matt McCall?

Matt McCall is a stock investor who got started 17 years ago as a broker for mega stock brokerage firm Charles Schwab.

While working there, he realized that there were potentially other ways he could help out investors and better things to invest in besides that which everybody on Wall Street was focusing on.

McCall has quite a bit of experience in investing and finances, and his list of accomplishments support that.

He’s the founder and president of Penn Financial Group, which is an RIA similar to Charles Schwab.

He’s also the founder and CEO of CrowdVest.Co, which is an equity crowdsourcing platform.

He is yet again also the founder of the financial publishing company Point B Publishing and founder and CEO of Crowdvest Securities.

He has an MBA in Finance from the University of Colorado and a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Kutztown University.

He’s even authored two best-selling investment books such as The Next Great Bull Market.

He has appeared many times on TV over the past decade, including being the co-host and chief technical analyst for the national radio show, Winning on Wall Street

He’s also the former co-host of a Fox Business Network-based daily investment show.

So, as you can see, the guy has a pretty impressive resume. And with all that history, it’s no wonder why people are regarding him as an expert in the space and are turning to him for advice on stocks.

What is Green Monday?

Green Monday is a video presentation by McCall that talks about an investment “secret” that supposedly gives you the opportunity to make big money once a week.

McCall claims that it’s a secret about the world wide cannabis industry, and that it’s something you can do each Monday (hence the name) that gives you a chance to collect “lightning-quick income.”

Some of his claims seem a bit overstated, such as the claim that you could potentially make “$2,600 in less than 30 seconds of work,” and that you can do that “every Monday of the year.”

The whole presentation talks you through how you can get in on these “Green Monday” opportunities. And he makes it a point that it’s extremely simple to generate these weekly payouts and that you don’t need prior investing experience.

And even though it’s called Green Monday, these opportunities are not just limited to Mondays. They can take place at any day of the week.

He also uses the well-known marketing technique of giving the sense of urgency by saying that Green Monday is a special situation that won’t last forever. He states that they have an estimated two to three years left to collect “oversized payouts” from cannabis stocks.

I’m telling you, this is an incredible opportunity we’ll only have a few short years, at best, to take advantage of.

He could be right. But this idea of instigating the sense of urgency is a tactic that nearly all “experts” in the stock investment space use in some way or another, and most of the time it doesn’t have much validity. The point is to make you feel like you need to get it now

Something interesting worth noting is that, when he gives his testimonials, the amount people are earning is all over the place. Two examples given are:

  • Kevin B. profited $3,000 with this approach over the past 8 weeks.
  • Keith N. said he’s made $80,000 in just two weeks!

Those numbers are very different than the $2,600 a week he originally stated. And while it’s obvious that there would naturally be some fluctuation among how much people would earn given different variables, these numbers seem to me to show a drastic inconsistency in whatever secret he’s promoting.

Also, it seems too good to be true that you could make a month’s salary in only 30 seconds one day of the week. Honestly, that seems to me to be a bit of an overstatement of the potential results. Not that they couldn’t happen, but the likelihood is probably quite low.

So, how do you get in on this great opportunity?

By subscribing to McCall’s Cannabis Cash Weekly newsletter.

Yes, this is all just a big sales pitch trying to funnel more sales into his newsletter. Which is honestly something a lot of these guys do – like Tom Gentile and his $150,000 profit party or Paul Mampilly with his America 2.0.

So, if you want to learn more about these Green Monday opportunities, you’re going to need to spend some money.

What is Cannabis Cash Weekly?

The Cannabis Cash Weekly is a weekly newsletter from Matt McCall that includes features like:

  • “Green Monday” Income Alerts
  • Monthly “Green Monday” Profit Recap
  • The Little Green Book of Big Cannabis Income
  • The Magic 9 Pot Stocks
  • Trading Tutorial Video Series
  • Marijuana Masterclass
  • Matt McCall’s Mastermind Meetup
  • Green Monday” Calculator
  • The Millionaire’s Income Secret

This is a lot of features for the chance to make that easy “Green Monday” money – and could give you the actual potential to make that.

However, it does come at a cost: you’re going to have to spend $399 every month on this subscription. That’s over $1,500 a year!

And if you’re just wanting to know about the Green Monday information, you have to pay for a subscription that has all of these other features you might not want.

This is a similar setup to The 2020 Pot Stock Roadmap I recently reviewed, which is a sales pitch to sell a different cannabis investing subscription service.

Summing It Up

All in all, Matt McCall’s “Green Monday” is legit because it’s just a presentation claiming that you can have a significant earning opportunity each week off of cannabis stocks.

It’s also considered legit because it’s promoting McCall’s Cannabis Cash Weekly newsletter, which is an actual newsletter – not a scam.

But even though it’s not a scam doesn’t mean you should necessarily spend your time and money on it.

This Green Monday “secret” is something that you could potentially make money on, but there’s also the potential to lose money, too.

Investing in any sort of stocks – especially something as controversial as cannabis – is a gamble. Nobody can know for sure what is really going to happen week to week, and nobody can predict the stock market with 100% accuracy.

And that’s not to mention that cannabis stocks had a rough year in 2019 to say the least, and they aren’t exactly rebounding (at least not at the time of writing this article).

So, even though Matt McCall has a lot of experience behind him and can probably give you some valuable tips, just make sure you don’t invest any money you can’t afford to lose. And don’t go into it expecting to become a millionaire overnight.
