The Fearless Momma – Scam or Legit Opportunity? [Review]

Welcome to my review of The Fearless Momma.

This system claims to help newbies earn easy $250 commissions, over and over again. Sounds exciting, and if the sales page is anything to go by, people are making money.

But does it really work, or is this really just another scam?

Here’s what you should know before joining…

The Fearless Momma Review

The Fearless Momma website (thefearlessmomma.com) is run by Timothy Berger. Who claims he is giving you a “simple, proven blueprint to predictable cashflow”.

Apparently, this “instant funnel brings you $250 commissions”, without you having to learn how to sell anything.

After watching the 4 minute video and reading over the sales page, I must admit… the sales copy is quite convincing. It certainly presents an attractive offer to anyone looking to make money online.

On one hand, this is good because (if you join) you’ll be using that same page to make sales. On the other hand, that doesn’t make it legit and it doesn’t mean that you will make money yourself, which I’ll elaborate on shortly.

Anyways, the idea behind the system is simple…

Join for $250, access some training modules, and (hopefully) earn money promoting the same system to others. In addition, you are encouraged to buy higher ticket offers, in order to qualify for higher commissions.

This isn’t a new concept by any means.

This sort of ‘pay to play’ business model has been around for years. And while it does definitely work, there are some drawbacks to consider as I will now explain.

How Does The Fearless Momma Work?

Here’s how The Fearless Momma System works in a nutshell:

  • Put your email into an optin form to get access to the sales page
  • Visit The Fearless Momma sales page, and join for $250 (which is paid to your referrer)
  • You can then use the same optin form and sales page (uniquely coded to you) to recruit others into the same system
  • Optionally, purchase the higher ticket upsells, and thus qualify to earn when your referrals purchase these

The first step is all about getting you the initial email lead. You can use your own optin form or the ‘done for you’ optin form each member receives. Which, as of writing this, looks like this:

Fearless Momma Lead Generation Form

If that person subscribes, they become your subscriber, which means you can market to them over and over again until they unsubscribe.

If that same person buys, they are actually paying you directly. Because you are their referrer (AKA their ‘Fearless Referrer’).

This is how you are able to earn ‘100% commissions’ with this system, because everyone is getting paid directly. It’s also what makes this similar to cash gifting.

Because, as a participant, you are not buying products from a company. You are literally giving $250 to the person who referred you, and then whoever you recruit gives you $250, and so on.

To be fair, you do receive products in return for your money.

But let’s be honest here…

No one is joining this system for the products. They are joining for the income potential.

In any case, if you land that sale, you will then have the opportunity to make even more money if your referrals ‘upgrade’ to higher ticket products.

Let me explain…

The $1,000, $3,000 and $5,000 Upsells

High ticket upsells are a big part of this system.

The good news is that this does give you an opportunity for higher earnings potential. The bad news is that it also means much higher costs for you.

The first ‘giveaway’ of this is on the sales page, where it says you can “scale to $1,000 commissions”?

Well, I did my homework, and it turns out that Tim Berger also runs a system called Six Figure Empires. Which costs $1,000 (plus an admin fee).

So this $1K upsell is definitely in the pipeline, and it seems it’s not the only one.

After watching a few YouTube videos, I was able to get a glimpse inside the members area. This is where I also learned that Tammy Montgomery is apparently the real ‘Fearless Momma’.

Anyways, the back office clearly shows that there are 3 main upsells on the horizon: $1,000, $3,000 and $5,000…

Upsells Within The Fearless Momma System

Earning big commissions is cool.

However, you actually miss out on these commissions if you don’t buy these products yourself. Someone above you gets whatever commissions you don’t qualify for.

So you do need a substantial budget to make real money with this system.

What About The Fearless Momma Products?

The Fearless Momma Products As a Fearless Momma member, you receive 7 modules of training, along with some bonus content.

There does appear to be some value in the training. After all, it’s in the best interests of the people running this to give you helpful information on promoting the system.

But how much ‘real world’ value can this training really contain, considering that the product creator is literally giving this stuff away? Remember, 100% of the proceeds of these ‘product sales’ go to the person who referred you, not the company itself.

So my point here is that you do get real training for your money, but these are really just ‘bundled’ in with the business opportunity.

You cannot buy these products as a retail customer, you only get them if you join the bizopp.

The other point I want to mention is that there are no refunds.

And the reason there are no refunds is NOT because they are digital products as the site claims. That is simply not true. Almost all popular digital product marketplaces offer full refunds.

The real reason there are no refunds, is because you are paying your ‘fearless referrer’, not the company itself.

Anyways, there is training on offer and it hopefully does teach you real internet marketing skills.

Either way though, this is clearly about recruiting as oppose to buying products. Anyone telling you otherwise is simply not being straight with you.

Can You Really Make Money With This System?

The short answer is yes, you can make money with The Fearless Momma.

There is absolutely no doubt that you can join this system, put people in front of the offer, and earn those $250 payments.

However, getting into profit is another story…

First, Let’s Consider The Costs

It’s important to understand that there are high costs involved in getting this business profitable. And the two main costs are within the upsells and the cost of driving traffic to the offer page.

Regarding the upsells, like most high ticket offers, the real profit is made in the ‘back end’ (when your referrals upgrade). So to be positioned at that level, and earn those larger commissions, you need to buy those products yourself.

Regarding the cost of running traffic, this is something you will need a solid budget for. Because as an affiliate of this program, which is what you are if you join, you NEED to drive traffic.

And to get traffic, you have two options: buy it or earn it.

If you plan on buying traffic, you can easily spend a LOT of money before seeing anything in return. Most online money making programs like this recommend paid traffic too. In particular, solo ads, where you can easily be paying $0.50 to $1 per click.

If you plan on ‘earning’ traffic, then be prepared to work hard for a fair amount of time. It is absolutely possible to generate significant amounts of high quality traffic without ever spending a dime, but it takes time, effort and persistence.

Either way, you need a steady flow of traffic if you want to make money with this system.

Second, You Need Real Internet Marketing Skills

Aside from costs, it is also important to learn how to do proper internet marketing if you want to be successful.

It’s one thing to ‘plug in’ to the system and start using the existing sales funnels. But done for you sales funnels aren’t as good as you think.

As I mentioned at the outset, the sales copy is (in my opinion) solid, and it most likely converts. However, these done for you funnels are also being used by every other Fearless Momma affiliate.

Which means that, over time, they will start converting at a lower rate.

This is why you need to learn how to do internet marketing properly if you want longterm results. Done for you stuff has a shelf life, and the more people who join and use the same funnels, the less effective they become.

There is no substitute for learning real skills to run your business. Which means it will take time and effort to get this into profit, just as with any other business.

Is The Fearless Momma a Scam?

Whether or not you consider The Fearless Momma a scam, is up to you. What I will say however, is that the business model itself is controversial.

And I say this for three main reasons…

Firstly, the pay to play nature of this business, coupled with the high ticket upselling, is precisely why (well known) programs like MOBE and Digital Altitude were shutdown by the FTC.

Second, the system is all about recruiting people who recruit people, and members pay members directly. Which is very similar to how cash gifting schemes work.

Third, I think the cost of these higher ticket products is over the top. You definitely do not (ever) need to spend this sort of money to learn how to build a real, legitimate online business. Quite often these high ticket products are grossly inflated in price, purely as a means to facilitate larger commissions for those who participate in the bizopp.

So to sum it up…

Fearless Momma is not a scam in the fact that you do receive training for your money and you can earn money by recruiting people. I also didn’t find the sales material to be too overhyped in comparison to some of the stuff I review.

But I do have concerns about the business model itself.

Conclusion

The Fearless Momma is a system that allows you to earn multiple $250 commissions, and subsequently higher commissions if you upgrade.

You can make money with this system, perhaps even a lot of money. And you may learn some tangible internet marketing skills in the process. Provided the training is of a high quality.

However, I personally won’t be recommending this system.

Because as I mentioned earlier, this is all about mass recruiting and convincing the people you recruit to spend significant amounts of money ‘upgrading’.

The reality is, most people don’t have this sort of money to begin with. And even if they do, there are better, lower cost ways to build a legitimate online business.

Ways that don’t require recruiting, cash gifting, or high ticket upselling.

What you decide to do is up to you, but hopefully this review helps you make a more informed decision either way.

  2. I just joined Fearless Momma, this guy is bashing one site to promote his own. Fearless Momma is a one time pay while this guy wants residual income per month pay. $250 one time vs $350 a year.

You are going to have to buy leads for any business online, you are going to have to learn Free traffic getting strategies and run them at the same time. That’s any where.

Fearless does have an aweber set up, upgrade that I thought was included. But it’s an extra $100. And you still have to use solo ads and Craigslist which ain’t Free no more.

But before I upgrade to the $1000 program I will have to make at least 8 $250 sales.

Still once you get Fearless and your aweber set up all you are responsible for is driving traffic. Just like anywhere else.

This guy selling his site, training, and website products doesn’t give you %100 commissions. I dont think there is an affiliate program attached. And with hundreds of hours of content you will get overwhelmed before you can apply anything you learned.

Pay to Play ain’t so bad. You get out what you put in.

  4. Thank you, Mr. Tim, for the in-depth review information on The Fearless Momma online business. I am really struggling to start an online business because I don’t have money to invest in an online business. I know there is no free money anywhere, but I find it difficult to understand why most of these online gurus who talk so much on their fortunes, whose fortunes as they make us understand cannot deplete until they die, cannot sacrifice a little bit of their fortunes to help less fortunate ones in society to also come out of poverty. If these affluent people around the world are ready to help people who want to go into business as I am struggling to do, more people will become rich as we stand the chance to replicate what others have done to get the world out of poverty. I hope you understand my concerns. I thank you again for the good work you are doing to help people like me to avoid the numerous scams on the net.

  6. I* Think if you combine the fact that the pay to play nature of this business, coupled with the high ticket upselling, is precisely why (well known) programs like MOBE and Digital Altitude were shutdown by the FTC. then combine it a check on Tim Berger originators you uwill have your answer.
