So it’s a good thing you are here, doing your due diligence. Because even though many of these “bizopps” sound great, there’s more to the story.

In this article, I’ll show you what you need to know so you can decide if postcard mailing is the right opportunity for you or something to avoid.

What Is a Postcard Marketing Business Opportunity?

A postcard marketing business opportunity is a system that allows you to promote the same program to others, by mailing postcards.

In other words, signup and convince others to do the same.

In many cases, these are multi level marketing (MLM) companies. Which means you also earn when people under you recruit others into the system.

In some cases, you can also use the system to promote the company’s products, or other offers you choose. But more often than not, it’s all about promoting the same ‘business opportunity’ you just joined.

Can You Really Get Paid To Mail Postcards?

The short answer is yes, you can make money mailing postcards.

But that doesn’t mean you should rush out and join a ‘bizopp’ that promises you an easy way to earn money sending postcards.

Because it’s not that simple.

The first thing you need to know about these ‘opportunities’, is that they are mostly about promoting the same system. And recruiting others into your MLM downline.

The second thing you need to understand is that many are ‘pay to play’ in nature. Which means that, to make the kind of money these systems portray, you need to ‘buy in’ at a certain level. Which qualifies you to promote that same system to others, in the hopes of recruiting them under you.

Some of these are even straight up cash gifting scams or pyramid schemes. Because there is no real tangible product involved. So in reality, all you have are affiliates joining, so they can recruit other affiliates, and so on. These schemes are costly, and collapse in time with most people losing money.

So if this is how the opportunity really works, it’s not a legitimate business.

They might talk about how their done for you system will make you easy money. But what you’re really doing, is buying into a recruiting scheme that could end up losing you a lot of money in the long run.

And that’s not even taking into consideration the already high costs of mailing out postcards to begin with. Which can really add up when you factor everything in. Such as the cost to buy the postcards and the mailing list (leads), and the cost to actually post them out.

To be clear, I’m not saying all MLM companies and all postcard opportunities are scams. But it’s important to understand that some are scams or low quality schemes at best.

So if you want to build a successful and long term business, it pays to be careful about which business you join and take part in.
