Hello and welcome to my review of Surveytime.

This site claims to “instantly reward” you for completing online surveys. So I decided I’d join to see what all the fuss was about, and share my experience with you.

Is it legit? Surveytime is a legitimate survey site where you earn $1 per survey. Each survey takes about 10-15 minutes to complete, and you are paid instantly via PayPal, Amazon, Target, or Decathlon gift card. So it’s not a scam based on my experience, it works.

With that being said, just because something is legit, doesn’t mean it’s gong to be worth your time and effort. So in this review, we’ll be discussing how it works in more detail, to help you decide if it’s worth it for you.

What’s Surveytime About?

Surveytime is a survey site that pays users to complete online surveys, in return for rewards like cash and gift cards.

The amount of money they pay is $1 per survey and each survey takes about 10-15 minutes to complete on average. Some surveys take less time, some more, but that’s about the average based on my experience with the site.

What’s in it for them?

Well, they’re basically a middleman between companies who want market research data and people who can provide that data (AKA users like you and I).

So they collect valuable information from you when you complete the surveys they provide. For example, your demographic information, how you shop, where you shop, what products you buy, and how often.

And they sell this information to companies (big and small) who use it to come up with new product ideas and improve existing products and services.

What makes Surveytime.io unique to other survey sites?

There’s lots of survey and reward sites online, but the thing that makes Surveytime unique is probably how simple it is and how fast they pay.

It’s simple because they only do surveys and they pay the same amount for every survey you complete ($1). And when it comes to payment, it’s virtually instant.

How Does It Work?

There are basically four main steps involved in making money with Surveytime:

1. Create your free account at Surveytime.io
2. Complete the initial questionnaire
3. Select and complete surveys within the members area
4. Choose how you want to be rewarded

1. Create your free account at Surveytime.io

The first step is to head over to surveytime.io and register your free account. Which takes less than a minute to do.

Once you enter your email address, they send you a confirmation email to make sure you are the owner of the email address you are using. And in that email, they give you a password and link to login with.

All you need to do is click the link in the email, use the email you used to register, and the password they gave you, and you’re good to go.

2. Complete the initial questionnaire

This step involves answering some questions about yourself, so that Surveytime can match you with the best possible online surveys.

How does it work?

Well, immediately after you login, you will be taken to a page that asks you a series of questions such as your age, gender, location, employment status and even a (very) basic intelligence test. As in, what’s four minus three.

All in all, there are 30 pre-screening questions, which take less than 7 minutes to complete, which help match you with the best surveys.

The answers you provide are anonymous too. And it’s not like they’re asking for your home address or social security number, lol. The reason they ask you these questions is to build a demographic profile about you, so they know which surveys you are going to be best suited to take.

This is why some people will get access to more survey opportunities than others. Because it comes down to how you answer these questions.

See, the companies Surveytime works with are looking for specific data on specific groups of people. Not just anyone. This is why people who are located in cities, or within certain age ranges, may get more surveys than others.

Anyways, once you complete this questionnaire, it’s time to move onto the next step in the process.

3. Select and complete surveys within the members area

Once you complete your account registration and answer the initial 7 minute questionnaire, you will get access to the members area.

And this is where you can choose from a list of surveys that Surveytime believes match up with you best, based on your previous answers.

I immediately got access to 20 surveys that range from 2 minutes to 20 minutes to complete per survey. Each survey opportunity lists how many other users have completed it too, to give you an idea on how popular it is.

If you click on one of these, you are taken to another short (4 question) questionnaire. It’s basically a list of pre-screening questions they ask, that ask the same questions as in the step above. Which I’m guessing is to make sure you’re answering honestly and correctly.

In any case, once you answer these, you are directed to another site to complete the actual paid survey. The idea is to answer the questions in that survey, and once you’re done, you are automatically directed back to Surveytime to choose your reward.

4. Choose how you want to be rewarded

As I mentioned earlier, each survey pays you $1 no matter what. So after you complete the survey, you are taken back to Surveytime.io where you can select how you want to receieve that dollar.

You can select to be paid via PayPal, Amazon, Target or Decathlon. It’s up to you and these will vary depending on where you live in the world.

The interesting thing about this is that payment is virtually instant.

In most other survey sites I’ve tried, they make you wait for days, weeks… even months to reach a certain payment threshold. In this case, you literally get paid after every survey – $1 at a time.

On one hand I think this is cool, on the other hand it’s kind of odd to be getting all of these $1 payments. It would be nice to have the option to let the chips stack up a bit before cashing out, but hey. Either way, you actually DO get paid, and it’s fast, which is what I think matters most.

Who’s Behind It?

The Surveytime.io domain was registered in June 2018 and is owned by a company called Persona.ly. Which is a global mobile ad-tech company that launched in 2013.

The Persona.ly head office is located in Israel, but they also have offices in New York, Tokyo, Seoul, and Beijing.

Basically what Persona.ly does is help sites and apps acquire customers and make more money through better technology.

And from what I can see, they’re very good at it. One look at the way their site works is enough to see that they are at the cutting edge in terms of technology and they work with some big names in the industry.

Which I think is good for a couple reasons.

Firstly, because it’s good to know you’re working with a legitimate company and not some scammy website. And second, because the way they integrate their technology into the platform makes it easier to use.

How Much Money Can You Make With Surveytime.io?

How much money you can make with Surveytime depends entirely on how many surveys you complete. And since every survey is worth a maximum of just $1, you need to be completing a fair few of these to make much money.

Let’s do the math…

If you earn $1 per survey and complete an average of 3-4 surveys per hour, you’d make an average of between $3 to $4 per hour with the Surveytime website.

But that’s assuming you had a constant flow of surveys to complete. Which in reality, is probably not going to be the case. You are going to be lucky to get anywhere near this amount of surveys on a regular basis.

Once you tap though a couple dozen surveys they’re going to become less and less available. Which is where you’d need to branch out into other survey sites to make more money.

The good thing about Surveytime is you know where you stand, there are no hidden surprises because it’s very simple and straightforward.

Some survey sites will promise all kinds of high amounts for completing surveys and I can safely say most of them are BS. Because in reality, it’s rare to earn more than $1 to $2 per hour on average on ANY survey site.

Of course, some sites will pay more or less. But on average, once you work out the time it takes to answer the questions, and the downtime between surveys and so forth, that’s about what you should expect.

So it’s not for people interested in making real money online. This, like any survey site, is for people who want to earn a few extra bucks without putting too much time and effort in to earning it.

How Do You Get Paid?

The way you get paid after completing each survey is via PayPal, Amazon, Target or Decathlon gift card. This does depend on your country, but these are the main payment options for those who reside in the United States.

I think most people will select PayPal since this can be converted into real money. As long as you have a free PayPal account, you just need to provide Surveytime with your PayPal email address and they will send you $1 payments each time you complete a survey.

It’s as simple as that really.

And as I mentioned earlier, you cannot stack your earnings in this site. They pay immediately upon completion of the survey. Which overall I think is a good thing.

Because there’s too many scam sites out there that make you reach a certain earnings threshold before paying you. Stringing you along for months, and then don’t pay you because of some bogus “violation”.

Is Surveytime a Scam?

No, Surveytime is not a scam. It’s a legitimate survey site that pays you $1 for every survey you complete, virtually instantly after completion.

And it’s owned by a legitimate company called Persona.ly which has been around for almost 7 years now. And works with some of the biggest names in the industry. So they’re definitely a legit operation and they do pay.

There are some complaints online from people who say they didn’t get to complete their survey or that they didn’t get paid. But overall, across the board, most people are giving positive reviews. Which is rare for survey sites since they attract a lot of attention.

The other thing that makes this more ethical than other sites I’ve tried is that they make it easy for you to unsubscribe from their emails. So if you find the emails they send are getting annoying, you can just visit their site and opt-out of communications.

In any case, I don’t recommend survey sites in general because I think they’re a bit of a waste of time. You’re putting SO much time into earning such a small amount, which overall makes it a waste of time in my view.

But that doesn’t make it a scam.

• It’s a relatively new site, so time is still needed to fully gauge how good it is overall.
• There’s no option to get paid in a larger amount, you get paid in amounts of $1, which is kind of annoying.
• They ask lots of questions and the same questions over and over again, before giving you access to paying surveys.

Summing It Up – Is It Worth Your Time?

Surveytime is a fairly new survey site and I have to say I personally like the way the site works. It’s very simple and straightforward.

You signup, answer some questions, get access to $1 surveys, and they pay you via PayPal when you complete these. It doesn’t get much easier than that.

The other thing I like is that they don’t use hype to get you to signup. Many survey sites I’ve tried over the years make all kinds of wild claims and never live up to the hype, I feel that Surveytime is different.

With that being said, I wouldn’t expect to make lots of money, because this simply is not that kind of gig. If you want to make real money online, you really want to avoid survey sites altogether, and learn something like affiliate marketing. Which is simple and can be a lot more lucrative.

In any case, I found Surveytime.io to be a legit site for what it is. Because they don’t make wild claims, and they do what they say they’re going to do. Which is pay you $1 per survey, virtually as soon as you’re done.
