Welcome to my review of Digital Income System.
This is a new site that claims to help you make $500 to $12,500 commissions using a “fully automatic system for generating online income”.
Sounds cool, but is this legit or just another scam?
Let’s take a closer look to find out!
Digital Income System Review
I came across this site (digitalincomesystem.com) recently, which basically claims to help you generate massive income online on full autopilot.
I’ve reviewed hundreds of programs on this blog over the past few years. And without a doubt most times I see this sort of claim, it’s a scam or nowhere near as good as it seems.
Especially when the people running the show remain anonymous, as they are with Digital Income System.
Anyways, the website looks professional, and the system appears to be a real way to make money. But after looking into this in more detail it is clear what this is really about.
Digital Income System is a high ticket MLM recruiting system.
The cost of joining this system ranges in price from $1,000 to $25,000 which is what makes it ‘high ticket’. And as with all high ticket systems like this, the real money is made ONLY if you buy into the ‘higher levels’ (I’ll explain more on this shortly).
And while the site claims it has nothing to do with MLM (multi-level marketing), this is simply not true.
The entire system is based on recruiting people, who recruit people. And the commissions you earn come from both direct sales AND commissions are ‘passed up’ when affiliates recruit someone who buys in at a higher level than them.
Let me explain…
How Does It Work?
The way this system works is similar to TWO very well known scams (Digital Altitude and MOBE) which were shutdown by the FTC.
This is how it works in a nutshell:
- You signup at a given level (between $1k-$25k)
- Your ‘coach’ will aggressively upsell you to the highest level
- You promote the same system in the hopes of recruiting others, who do the same
All of the tools, training and ‘coaching’ is designed to help you promote the SAME system. So there is no real product here, there is buying a membership level and convincing others to do the same.
Kind of like how pyramid schemes work.
Anyways, there are 5 membership levels in total:
- Entrepreneur level: Pay $1,000 to qualify for $500 recruitment commissions
- Director level: Pay $3,000 to qualify for $1,500 recruitment commissions
- Professional level: Pay $5,000 to qualify for $2,500 recruitment commissions
- Ambassador level: Pay $12,000 to qualify for $6,000 recruitment commissions
- Executive level: Pay $25,000 to qualify for $12,500 recruitment commissions
So if you join you will need to decide which of these membership levels you want to start out with. Most people will join at the lower levels because let’s face it… $25k is a lot of money.
But your coach will call you and tell you how important it is to upgrade.
And in some respects he or she is right. With this system, if you do not upgrade to the tippy top levels, you miss out on sales. Whenever you recruit someone who buys in at a higher level than you, those extra commissions are ‘passed up’ to whoever above you is at the higher levels.
For example: If you buy in at the Director level, and recruit someone who buys in at the Executive level, you lose $11,000 in commissions. And that $11k is passed up to people in your upline who do qualify.
This is why the whole thing is a chain recruitment based MLM scheme.
Can You Really Make Money With “Systems” Like This?
It is possible to earn money with schemes like this, yes.
But the reality is- most people NEVER make enough to even cover their joining costs.
Only the experienced, aggressive recruiters ever make decent money with systems like this. Not to mention, those who have a big enough bank roll to buy in at the highest level, and spend a fortune of traffic.
The whole idea is to buy traffic from Digital Income System, and you will need a LOT of it to get results.
The other reason systems like this simply do not work for the majority is because you are not being taught real internet marketing skills. Rather, you are being shown how to ‘follow a system’.
And you are following the SAME system as 10,000’s of other hopeful affiliates.
Which means you are using the same traffic sources, landing pages, email followups, videos etc. This is why done for your business systems suck.
After awhile, conversion rates tank big time. Because the same people from the same traffic sources are sick of seeing the same old sales material.
There is no ‘shortcut’ or ‘system’ to making money online.
Sure, it can work for SOME people in the beginning and those who are experienced, but it does not work for the majority. And it has nothing to do with work ethic.
It is the system itself. Which eventually, like every other chain recruiting scheme, will collapse once people stop joining. At which point the ‘heavy recruiters’ will jump ship and start promoting the next ‘big thing’.
Verdict – Is Digital Income System a Scam?
Whether or not you believe Digital Income System is a scam, is up to you.
I personally believe that (at best) it’s a recruiting scheme that will inevitably collapse, and lose a lot of people a lot of money.
In any case, sites like this do not teach you how to build a real business online. Rather, they teach you how to promote a grossly overpriced ‘opportunity’ (AKA recruiting scheme) that fails the majority.
Just like how MOBE and Digital Altitude were shutdown and people lost a lot of money, it’s my opinion that the same will eventually be true for this site.
What you decide to do is up to you, but I could never recommend this to you in good conscience.
It's true... most people fail to make money online. Despite the wealth of opportunity that currently exists, there's a mountain of misinformation and bunk programs out there.
Thankfully, there is a real way for the average person to start a profitable online business. I know because I've done it myself. Here's how I went from $0 to $8k plus per month online.
